Two-thirds of the postdoctoral fellow population at the University of Maryland, Baltimore is non-resident aliens. The Office of International Services will issue the appropriate immigration form needed to secure a visa after acceptance for admission to the University. The Office of Postdoctoral Scholars, a newly organized office, housed in the Graduate School at UMB . The goal of this office as a liaison between postdoctoral fellows and the central administration of the campus, operating under the direction of Dr. Malinda Orlin, Dean, Graduate School and assisted by Postdoctoral Specialist/Academic Coordinator Dr. Erin Golembewski .
